This test assess the feasibility of home-based telework. The questions focus on six items : workplace at home, access to the telephone network, industrial hygiene and safety, data and network security, human environment, insurance policy.

Workplace at home

No direct access from home to the telephone network Access from home to a broadband telecommunications network Access from home to the basic telephone network
Industrial hygiene and safety
The electrical installations is not conform to existing safety standards The workplace is badly insulated against noise pollution and other disturbance The workplace is badly protected against break-ins Confortable and secure workplace
Data and network security
It will be not possible to provide a data back-up system Bad protection of the system against virus attack Effective protection of the network and data is insured Protection of the network against interference is not insured
Human environment
The couple relationships are strained Third parties (family, neighbours) could involve some disturbance None human environment will disturb the work at home
Insurance policy
The workplace's equipment at home can't be insured The workplace at home can be properly insured The National Health Service doesn't recognize industrial injury at home
